This was by far the strangest and biggest mistake I've ever made booking through travelocity. My company told me that they would cover my hotel expenses while in Cali. Travelocity will charge your card even though another company will cover for the same room on the same day. So the hotel got paid double! I called travelocity, and they asked why did I reserve the hotel if my company was suppose to cover it? Your going to make me feel interigated over the phone like I did something wrong? Maybe that's the reason why these booking company's suck! Initially no problems in booking. Process was going smoothly and I found a hotel and flight I was happy with. So I began the booking process. Normally I book each thing on my own but now I figured, why not give one of the all in one sites a shot. I come to the screen, get the total and enter my credit card information.

All of a sudden after clicking the "book" button I get a message on the screen. Well that's odd, I guess I missed the window of opportunity! But just to be sure, I went ahead and tried logging in on a different computer that had never visited the site to see what a fresh rate would be. Again the rate came up for the original price. I called in and the agent said the same thing She said that prices going up like this was normal and that the front end system hadn't updated yet.

I asked her what she would do if she walked into a store where it displayed a price for an item in the window, but when she walked in I've gone back to booking things separately and when I booked the flight and hotel on my own Having had to cancel 2 first class tickets for my mother-in-law who is 97 and had become too ill to fly, I am still trying to figure out how that insurance protected ANYTHING!!!!!! Made more difficult as the customer service person I spoke to had a very poor command of the english language; not sure we were even talking about the same thing at times.

I purchased a ticket from travelocity for my mother in law from moscow to chicago. She was scheduled to stay with us from sept to may. I specifically asked the travelocity rep before buying the ticket if she needed to go back sooner what would it cost. Ok, no worries. I called today and needed to change the ticket to January and they said SAS airlines changed their policy and I would have to buy another ticket in order for her to fly back early.

I asked when the policy changed and she said in september. She then proceeds to tell me that most airlines will change a ticket date for a fee but SAS doesn't now. You have lost this customer.
