Great People, Excellent Work. I really enjoyed my time at Merrill. It was a wonderful team and great people to work with. I had excellent partnership and cooperation from everyone and it was an encouraging environment. The staff at Merrill were first rate and the tech stack was modern. I was assigned to the legacy side, but we were lucky enough to have a winning app and support was great for anything we needed.

Pros Wonderful people. Focused Direction. Market Leader. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. The work atmosphere was very interactive and it promoted open dialogue between all teams. There were plenty of intimate meeting rooms and all were encouraged to join when applicable. Pros Great co-workers. Cons Hard to advance. Great company to work for. Pros not alot of overtime. Cons pay was low work was good pace not overwhelming. One of the biggest mistakes I ever made in choosing employment. What was promised was far from what was received. Micro managed by incompetent supervisors that really had no idea what they were doing.

That might be why there have only been maybe 4 or 5 people that actually retired from there, which is quite amazing if you a m dollar company. The turnover there is plenty. Pros All the work you can handle if you don't mind someone looking over your shoulder. Cons Poor management, bad work atmosphere.

Was doing great but without the technology keeping up with the industry they fell behind and struggled after that. Started to sell businesses to stay viable. No long-term solid plan. Great place to work, some managment work to enable trust is needed.
